Thoddoo – Toddú (Maldivian: ތޮއްޑޫ‎) is one of the inhabited islands in the Alif Alif Atoll in the Maldives. It has a population of 1,461 (June 2006), is 1,675 m long and 1,200 m wide. It is located 58.74 km from the capital city of Male.

Thoddoo Island resembles a mango in shape and is one of the greenest islands in the Maldives. Here you will find fields where vegetables and fruit are grown.

In December, a large part of the island prepares for planting melons. The fields are prepared and by Ramadan they are beautifully green and filled with various types of melons. During Ramadan, Thoddoo Island is the largest exporter of melons to the surrounding islands.

The island’s landmark is a beautiful long palm tree alley, which is in the photos of almost all visitors. Local photographers also like to use it.

Thoddoo Island is also popular for its large selection of fresh fruit, much of which is grown directly on the island.

Tourists can enjoy two bikini beaches: Sunrise Bikini Beach and Sunset Bikini Beach.

You will definitely be interested in souvenir shops, grocery stores where you can buy local products, various restaurants, and bars serving mixed non-alcoholic drinks.

There is a health center here.

You cannot buy alcoholic beverages on the island. It is also prohibited to import alcoholic beverages into the country.

There is no beachfront accommodation on Thoddoo. You can rent a bicycle or electric scooter.
